With prost in the same team, I could taste that strongly.

That wouldn't be the same team. Prost is one of the founders of e.dams and the article says JV is concidered as a driver for Mahindra. Would love seeing it happen though

I do feel the same way.
I hope that pilots are drawn within this new formula with a certain name. This could only give it more shine.

Hmmm... Rallycross? Never heard of it. Does somebody know how a Typical Rallycross Weekend looks like? How long are the races?

If JV won the crown... He would be alone in his class   

Very unlikely that someone else would achieve the same path.

The Journal de Montreal reveals today that 1997 Formula 1 World Champion, Jacques Villeneuve will contest the new FIA Rallycross World Championship in 2014.

The news will be officially announced Thursday during a press conference in Scotland.

According to the daily newspaper, Villeneuve has been hired by team Albatec to contest the full season of 12 rounds held around the globe of this new FIA-sanctioned World Championship. Villeneuve will be behind the wheel of a Peugeot 208.

The former Williams driver may be new to rallycross but he has significant ice racing experience under his belt from his years in the French Andros Trophy.

Villeneuve’s participation is not accidental as the only North American round of the World Championship will be held at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres in August. It is different from the Global Rallycross Championship that is strictly American.

Yeah, it's also already on german motorsport sites. Seems to be more credible than the nascar whelen euro story

I was thinking about what JV has achieved so far. Just a thought: if Villeneuve lands a Formula E seat, (i still hope this is possible) that means he will have raced in every championship that ever existed. Am i correct?

This article made me think that the formula E drivers club is now full, otherwise I hope he would try this also.

The Rally x is cool. It is great that JV gets to race a whole season (I think) and run for a championship.
