Jacques Villeneuve : news & talks

Looks like JV is signing on tuesday for PF1 Racing.

So we guess all this news about DF1 is just a joke? Who does this sort of thing!

I don't know what this was all about... It doesn't make sense to me. The news was published by the biggest austrian newspaper, where the author of the book that was presented yesterday is writing for. Also the website of the austrian public broadcasting channels published it. This same guy worked for them more than 40 years and commented the f1 races! So you should think they might know were they take their informations from But it seems like investigating isn't part of a journalists job anymore.
There were actually signs of the new DF1 nascar team at the book presentation. On Pictures and Videos of the event you can see the logo displayed on some tv screens. But there was no word and no Picture from JV.

It is indeed unfortunate that some journalists can not keep to avoid cares for rules.
Is this speculation or what?
For publishing rumors, the journalist does not really show actual accuracy. He must mention that it is a rumor and can make the rumors which he relies, actually circulate and the publication serves a social interest plausible.

The price to pay is credibility loss, in this case I know of a few who just paid that price.

And there was to correction the next day in the paper in question?

I don't know if this actually was in the printed version. I just found it online. Havent found any information of JV in a article that wrote of the event after it happened. Just some information about the authors new book and his views on todays formula 1.

Good - nice to read that JV still has challenges in life where he stands behind.

Rick Gorne, manager of Canadian former Formula 1 driver Jacques Villeneuve, has denied with RTK radio that Mr Villeneuve is interested in buying Maltese citizenship.

Mr Gorne represents the former driver in the company Mango Sports Management.

He denied media reports about Mr Villeneuve, saying the former driver is not interested in becoming Maltese.

Yop, it is true.

So, 4 boys at the house Villeneuve.
It's probably still early but who knows there is a possibility that one of the brothers is an intermediate future F1 driver.

I hope he is gonna do much better than a F1 driver: a MotoGP driver!
