I like JV's comment on his website:

"I got surprised by the car which braked much more that I thought it would," said Villeneuve. "I braked too early all through my laps and ruined my starting position. However, I know the car has good brakes, which is definitely a good omen for the race."

Which means he will have good breaking for the race!

JV would have earned to win this race. But i think there's no need to be sad about his 3rd place. Jacques made this race so fun and intense even the ESPN guys were praising him constantly!

I was listening to Sirius and realize that there are as many people that dislike Jimmie Johnson as dislike JV.

It's maybe not bad to be disliked, at least people are talking. Nobody is talking about Tagliani. Crew chiefs and even Justin allgaier, are quite respectful of JV's talents when they are talking.

I think people are influenced by the "Ricky Bobby" phenomenom when it comes to Jacques and maybe some feel threatened.

JV had a fantastic race. I hope he can come back next year to finish the job.

JV was eating an energy bar during a caution. They should sponsor him.

I hope Discount Tire loses business for being so stupid. There was a small Discount Tire decal on JV's car.

I wonder who threw the shoe and who was their target. People were joking that Mrs. Villeneuve was seen walking around with one shoe.

I really enjoyed hearing broadcaster Ricky Craven brag many times of Jaques talent instead of Rusty Wallace's usual biased opinion.
The race was so exciting and those cautions were maddening, soooooo close.

I didn't realise that there was no sponsor on the car. That's a pretty stupid move by Discount Tire. The 22 got most of the attention in this race. I really liked that the commentators acknowledged his talent and the way they were laughing about the Tagliani incident Laughing (They would have been furious if Danica was involved though Wink )

You could tell Ricky Craven is a real JV admirer, from the first lap he was pointing out how NOBODY can out brake JV cheers
Tag's incident was seen as JV sees it, he was being held up and had to go or be passed.
Like the french side of forum are mentioning, Kyle Bush racing would be a great place for JV to land Laughing
