Indy Car Silly Season

Please feel free to share any news or rumors about Indy car drivers especially if they may concern JV
IE. Pageneaud will decide on his future within 2 weeks. That is with the team JV ran Indy with and Pag is rumored to be leaving.
Unless JV gets a ride with Andretti, Penske or Gannassi this is probably the best ride to come available plus they like JV. Although Fontana was a big disaster for them including Aleshyn's crash in practise and Pageneauds result (7 laps down)

Simon Pagenaud has left his seat open at SPH racing in order to join Penske, joining his arch rival Will Power.

Random thoughts

Much has been made of U.S. Driver Conor Daly testing for the Schmidt Peterson Motorsport (SPM) team alongside Canadian James Hinchcliffe on Tuesday at Sebring International Raceway. The son of former formula One and IndyCar driver Derek Daly, the 23-year-old would be a nice addition to the IndyCar line-up, but it may not be with the SPM team. It is thought that former IndyCar racers Simona de Silvestro has the inside line to be Hinchcliffe's teammate in 2015.

It's always weird when I see a "glamour picture" of a pilot... and I have never seen one from a male pilot...

And in my opinion, Simona does not need this kind of "very useful" picture... She drives pretty well...

Hey Brad... This one is a hell of a post... giving me opposite feelings in seconds apart...

The fact Orial Servia got the 3rd SPR seat for the 100th anniversary is probably the death knell for any Indy 500 hopes I had for JV. I cannot rule out a fourth team or some other surprise. BUT it would be a surprise of epic proportion.
